The Lubrizol Foundation is offering grant opportunities to nonprofit organizations and charities in their local communities. The Foundation aims to improve at least 2,028,000 lives by 2028 through grants totaling at least $20,280,000 to qualified organizations. Applicants must align with Lubrizol's Corporate Community Engagement Priorities, which include improving health and well-being, quality education, and protecting the natural environment. Eligible organizations must be tax-exempt nonprofits located in and primarily serving the community where a Lubrizol facility is situated.

Prospective grantees can apply by submitting a completed grant application, cover letter from the Executive Director or Development Director, list of current board members or trustees, tax exemption letter from the IRS, and most recent audited financial statement. Organizations that have been denied a grant will not be reconsidered for 12 months from the date of denial. Reporting requirements include a Post-Grant Report one year after receiving funding. The Foundation does not support individuals, political or religious organizations, fundraising events, endowment building or debt reduction drives, or any organization that discriminates against any person or group.
