Description

The Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) is inviting eligible applicants to participate in the Homelessness and Housing Insecurity Support Pilot Project by applying for grants of up to $25000 per institution. ICCB will fund a minimum of 10 grants to selected community colleges to support the development of pilot programs to respond to the specific needs of students experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity. The grant objectives include developing campus-level activities related to student outreach efforts, creating direct student support pilot programs, and enhancing collaboration with local resources. The grant period is from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025.
