Funding is available for nonprofit organizations, municipalities, and businesses based in Loudoun County that are planning tourism, marketing, or hospitality-related events or initiatives.
Grants of up to $25,000 are available for eligible projects that promote overnight stays in local hotels and raise the profile of Loudoun County’s cultural, historical, recreational, and entertainment assets. Both new and ongoing projects are eligible, including events, attractions, marketing campaigns, and related programs, as long as the funding is used strictly for tourism-focused purposes in accordance with applicable county and state regulations.
Applications must be submitted online by Friday, April 4, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. A pre-application webinar will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. to help prospective applicants understand the application process and reporting requirements. Details about how to join the webinar, as well as the application and program guidelines, are available at loudoun.gov/GrantOpportunities.
Organizations interested in applying must ensure that projects comply with county policies and state code regarding tourism funding. The funding may not be used for unrelated operational expenses or for projects not aimed at increasing tourism.
