Previous recipients are eligible only for new projects, and collaboration among partners is encouraged. Projects must target at least one of Emerson Health’s priority areas: mental health, financial stability, or other community health concerns. The funds cannot be used for fundraising activities.

Applications are due by November 15, 2024, and awards will be announced on December 20, 2024, with project start dates set for January 1, 2025. A final report, detailing project outcomes, is required by January 31, 2026. Emerson Health’s recent assessments highlight economic challenges, mental health concerns, and barriers to accessing healthcare as key issues, with specific objectives set to improve mental health support, financial stability, and resource access for populations most impacted, including low-income households, youth, older adults, and LGBTQIA+ individuals.
