The Equinox Foundation, in partnership with the Innovia Foundation, offers a grant program aimed at supporting the well-being and development of communities in Bonner and Boundary counties in North Idaho. This family foundation emphasizes the core values of wisdom, integrity, and environmental stewardship. Its mission is carried out through funding programs that enrich the region's educational, economic, cultural, health, and community systems.
The 2025 Equinox Foundation Grant Program accepts proposals from nonprofit organizations addressing key program areas, including education and youth development, arts and culture, economic opportunity, health and wellbeing, and quality of life. Funding is available for projects that demonstrate a clear community benefit and align with the foundation’s overarching values and regional priorities.
Grants range from $5,000 to $30,000 and are awarded for a one-year term, beginning August 1, 2025, and ending July 31, 2026. The application window opens on February 18, 2025, and closes on April 11, 2025. Awards will be publicly announced in July. Funding is provided for projects operating exclusively within Bonner and Boundary counties, and the program is not open to organizations or activities outside of these locations.
