Community Relations Innovation Small Grant Program 2025
This grant provides funding to community organizations in Upper Arlington for projects that promote diversity, inclusion, and a sense of belonging among residents, particularly those from non-majority backgrounds.
Description
The Community Relations Innovation Small Grant Program, established by the City of Upper Arlington in partnership with the Community Relations Committee (CRC), supports projects that promote diversity, inclusion, and belonging within the community. The program offers grants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to fund new initiatives or enhance existing programs that align with the CRC’s mission of fostering mutual respect and shared community. Eligible projects must focus on increasing knowledge and appreciation of diversity, enhancing positive interactions between residents and non-residents, or fostering a sense of belonging, particularly for non-majority residents and those without pre-existing connections to Upper Arlington.
Applications for the 2025 grant cycle will be accepted from November 1 to December 13, 2024, with successful applicants announced at the Community Relations Committee Meeting on January 23, 2025. This grant aims to encourage innovative, community-based solutions that reflect Upper Arlington’s commitment to being a welcoming and inclusive city.
Organizations interested in applying should review the grant’s goals and prepare proposals that demonstrate how their projects will advance diversity, inclusion, and community engagement. This program provides an opportunity to create impactful projects that build a stronger, more inclusive Upper Arlington and Central Ohio community.
