2024-2025 Tourism Facilities Grants
This funding opportunity provides financial support to local governments and nonprofit organizations for projects that improve tourism facilities and enhance visitor experiences in Tillamook County.
Description
The Tillamook Coast Visitors Association (TCVA), in partnership with Tillamook County, is offering Tourism Facilities Grants for the 2024-2025 fiscal year. With $400,000 in available funding, these grants aim to support the development and enhancement of tourism facilities that promote tourism and visitor engagement in Tillamook County. Applicants may request up to $75,000 per project, with the application period running from October 1, 2024, to December 15, 2024.
Eligible applicants include city and county governments, local government entities such as ports, special districts, intergovernmental agencies, as well as federal and state agencies. Nonprofit and not-for-profit organizations engaged in tourism-related activities within Tillamook County are also eligible. However, projects where Tillamook County itself is a primary participant, sponsor, or lead are excluded from this funding.
The application process is managed by TCVA, which serves as the main point of contact for applicants and grant recipients. TCVA will coordinate the Tourism Advisory Committee (TAC) meeting, during which committee members will score, rank, and recommend projects for funding. After the Board of County Commissioners approves the awards, TCVA will manage contracts, issue reimbursement payments, and oversee scheduled project reporting.
To apply, existing grant holders can log in to the grant portal with their email and, if necessary, reset their password. New applicants must create an account to access the application. Detailed grant criteria and guidelines, as well as examples of past funded projects, are available on the TCVA website, allowing applicants to understand eligibility and prioritize projects that align with program goals.
