Description

The Illinois Energy Transition Navigators Program, funded through the state's Clean Energy Jobs Act (CEJA), is now accepting grant applications to support community outreach and education regarding the state's energy transition initiatives. The program aims to assist communities, particularly underserved and environmental justice communities, in understanding and accessing clean energy programs and opportunities. The total available funding for the program is $500,000, with a single award ranging between $200,000 and $500,000.

Eligible applicants must submit their applications between October 1, 2024, and December 2, 2024, by 5:00 PM CST. The grant does not require cost-sharing or matching funds, and indirect costs are permitted without restrictions.

To be eligible, applicants must pre-qualify through the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) system.
