Apply for Future Founders’ Startup Bootcamp 2025

Future Founders

This program provides mentorship and resources at no cost to young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30 in the U.S. to help them develop and scale their startups.

Description

Future Founders has opened applications for its 2025 Startup programs, which include the Startup Bootcamp for early-stage entrepreneurs and the Fellowship for growth-stage founders. These programs aim to empower young entrepreneurs by providing mentorship, resources, and community support. Designed for individuals aged 18 to 30 (or slightly older for those new to entrepreneurship), the programs are industry-agnostic and support ventures ranging from physical products to cutting-edge technology. Future Founders’ initiatives are offered at no cost to participants, and they do not take equity in participants’ businesses.

The Startup Bootcamp is tailored to entrepreneurs at the idea stage who may have made a few sales but are still refining their business concepts. For those with more established ventures, the Fellowship focuses on helping founders scale their businesses after achieving product-market fit and generating revenue. Fellowship applicants must submit a short video as part of their application. Both programs run weekly from March through November 2025, with the Bootcamp meeting on Wednesdays and the Fellowship on Tuesdays.

Applicants can choose to apply for one or both programs using a single application form. The process includes the option for early consideration, with a deadline of January 7, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT. The final application deadline is February 2, 2025, at 11:59 PM CT. Interviews will be conducted from January to March, with final decisions following these sessions. While most programming is virtual, both programs require at least one in-person retreat in Chicago, though participants do not need to reside there.

Eligibility requirements include being the primary equity holder and decision-maker for the business and having the company headquartered in the United States. Co-founders may apply for the Startup Bootcamp individually, but only one co-founder per team will be accepted into the Fellowship.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to connect with program staff for guidance. Those interested in the Startup Bootcamp can reach out to Chris Van Etten at chris@futurefounders.com, while Fellowship applicants can contact Scott Issen at scott@futurefounders.com. These programs represent a unique opportunity for young entrepreneurs to grow their ventures while receiving tailored support from a dedicated community.
