B.Braun Grant for an Investigator-Initiated Study
This grant provides funding for non-profit organizations and researchers to conduct studies that address unmet medical needs and advance treatment in B. Braun's therapeutic areas of interest.
Description
B. Braun offers a grant opportunity through their corporate charitable giving and medical educational grants program. The program supports non-profit organizations serving local communities where B. Braun facilities are located, as well as independent programs that support awareness, study, or treatment in their therapeutic areas of interest. Eligible organizations must be non-profits, with the exception of educational grants.
Requests for grants are reviewed quarterly in July, October, January, and April. Organizations should submit their requests at least 4 weeks prior to the review month. B. Braun also supports researchers, physicians, and institutions interested in conducting their own research. Grants are awarded based on medical or scientific merit, unmet medical need, study feasibility, and availability of funds.
To apply for a grant, organizations need to provide a fully executed IIR agreement between the requesting organization and B. Braun or a U.S. affiliate company, as well as IRB approval. All grant requests should be received at least three (3) months before the grant is required. Incomplete requests or those missing supporting documentation will not be considered.
To submit an application for processing, organizations can email it to GrantRequests@bbraunusa.com or mail it to B. Braun Medical Inc., c/o Corporate Compliance, 824 Twelfth Avenue Bethlehem PA 18018.
