New Horizons Grants are designed to foster innovation in addressing issues related to health or community well-being in Louisiana. These grants support projects that introduce new resources or services, reimagine ineffective existing resources or services in novel ways, or conduct previously unexplored research. With a focus on creating impactful change, these grants aim to challenge the status quo and bring forward emerging ideas and social startups that can significantly disrupt negative health trends in Louisiana. Successful projects may lead to changes in policies, practices, and social supports, potentially serving as pilot interventions or new approaches to solving existing problems.
