Description

Mayor Ravi S. Bhalla and the City of Hoboken, supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, United Cities and Local Government, and the Bloomberg Center for Public Innovation at Johns Hopkins University, have announced a microgrant initiative to empower youth-led climate action projects. The fund will award microgrants ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 to organizations that are youth-led or emphasize youth participation, aimed at individuals aged 15 to 24 residing, studying, or working in Hoboken. Projects can encompass a variety of climate initiatives, from education and awareness programs to mitigation and adaptation strategies, including youth-led gardening, waste management, and climate resilience planning.
