Description
The San Antonio Junior Forum (SAJF) provides grants to nonprofit organizations in the San Antonio region to support projects that benefit economically, emotionally, or physically disadvantaged individuals. SAJF, a volunteer women's organization established in 1961, aims to enhance civic, educational, and philanthropic awareness while serving those in need. Eligible nonprofits must be 501(c)(3) organizations with a chapter in Bexar County or surrounding counties.
The maximum grant request is $20,000, and applications must focus on specific projects that align with SAJF's mission. Key dates for the 2024-2025 grant cycle include:
September 1, 2024: Grant application and guidelines available for download.
November 1, 2024: Grant application submission deadline.
March 15, 2025: Notification of grant recipients.
April 30, 2025: Distribution of grant checks during site visits.
May 1, 2025: Deadline for grant recipients to provide proof of publicity.
March 1, 2026: Deadline for recipients to submit receipts proving the purchase of funded items.
