Description

The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) Foundation, established in 1890 by Jane Addams, provides grants supporting home- and community-based healthcare services for medically underserved residents of metro-Chicago, including Cook, Lake, McHenry, DuPage, Kane, and Will counties. Grants, which range from $35,000 to $50,000 on average, with a maximum of up to $80,000, support various health services categories such as primary/chronic care, mental health, and more. Programs where nurses provide care receive priority. Eligible candidates must be tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Grant renewed every year. Grant annual deadlines: January 25th (LOI December 14th previous year), April 25th (LOI March 21st), July 25th (LOI June 20th), October 19th (LOI September 14th)
