Description
The Valley County Masonic Endowment Fund, administered by the Montana Community Foundation (MCF) and established by the Nemont Manor Foundation, supports projects that benefit residents and communities within Valley County, Montana. The grant application window for the 2025 cycle is March 1 through March 31, 2025, and awards will be made for up to $5,000 per project. The program operates through a competitive grant process, and incomplete applications will not be considered.
Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and exempt governmental units. Importantly, while projects must benefit Valley County, the applying organization does not need to be based in Valley County. However, only one application per organization is permitted.
Projects must fall under one or more of the following five focus areas: arts and culture, basic human needs, economic development, education, and natural resources and conservation. The fund does not support annual or capital campaigns, endowment contributions, debt retirement, or religious, sectarian, or partisan political activities.
Applications will be reviewed by the Nemont Manor Foundation. Applicants must submit their proposals online via the MCF grant portal by the deadline. Technical assistance or questions may be directed to Taylor Crowl, Community & Economic Vitality Program Officer, at 406-603-4913 or by email.
