The Foundation funds programs and projects that directly impact low-income and vulnerable older adults and their caregivers in the following areas:

Food insecurity

Safety, security and elder abuse
Social work/Case management
Transportation for older adults, caregivers, or home health aides

Types of Grants
The Foundation will consider proposals for the following types of grants:
Small Grants, up to $15,000

Project/program creation, expansion, and/or support
Minor capital improvement projects

Full Grants

Project/program creation, expansion, and/or support
Grants for more than $50,000 can be considered for exceptional programs based on the merits of the proposal and must be discussed with the Foundation prior to submitting an LOI.

Geographical Area
The Foundation considers funding requests for projects and programs only in geographical area of Dutchess, Putnam, and Westchester Counties, NY.
Eligibility Criteria
Potential grantees that meet focus and geographical areas also need to have:

An annual operating budget of $1 million or more
A full time, paid executive director
A history of providing direct services to older adults and/or their caregivers in eographical area, or have an interest in expanding a program to the area
