Colorado Outdoor Regional Partnerships Grants - Plan Development Grants
This funding opportunity supports Colorado non-profits and government entities in collaborating on conservation and recreation planning to enhance outdoor experiences and engage underrepresented communities.
Description
The Colorado Outdoor Regional Partnerships Grants are designed to support regional collaboration and conservation and recreation planning in Colorado. These grants aim to ensure that Colorado’s land, water, and wildlife thrive while providing equitable and quality outdoor recreation experiences. Eligible applicants include Colorado non-profit organizations and government entities that represent a coalition with a broad range of outdoor interests. The grants are open for application twice a year, in February and September, with specific deadlines for letters of interest and applications. The funding amounts range from $25,000 to $250,000 depending on the type of grant, with a total of $4.9 million awarded since 2021. The initiative encourages coalitions to engage traditionally underrepresented communities in their planning and development efforts.
