Loudoun County Human Services Nonprofit Grant Program – FY 2026
This program provides financial support to nonprofit organizations in Loudoun County to deliver essential services that improve the safety, health, and independence of vulnerable and underserved residents.
Description
The Loudoun County Human Services Nonprofit Grant Program for FY 2026 is designed to strengthen collaboration between Loudoun County and nonprofit organizations, ensuring local funds are used effectively to support vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals and families. The program prioritizes services that address critical needs in safety, health, security, and independence, with an emphasis on underserved residents. Applicants must demonstrate the delivery of services that provide measurable positive outcomes for County residents.
The program is funded through local tax dollars and offers two funding tracks: a standard grant ranging from $5,001 to $113,000, and a mini-grant of $5,000 or less. For standard grants, funds are awarded proportionally based on scoring thresholds and available resources. Mini-grants have a simplified application process and, if funding permits, successful applicants are awarded the full amount requested. All applications must include a detailed budget that outlines and justifies the use of requested funds. Budgets must focus only on the portion of the project being funded by Loudoun County.
