The foundation particularly seeks proposals from organizations with annual budgets under $5 million and with strong track records of creative and well-grounded approaches. The foundation excludes oral health proposals but encourages connections with the Children’s Oral Health Network of Maine for organizations addressing broader children's health needs. Organizations that have previously received funding must wait two years before reapplying. Grants range from $3,000 to $15,000.
