Description

The Youth Mental Health & Wellbeing Challenge Grant, administered by the Colorado Department of Law, aims to support collaborative, community-driven projects that increase protective factors for children and youth to decrease the usage of Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS). The grant seeks to address the rising mental health issues among youth, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, and aims to combat the youth vaping crisis through various community programs. Eligible applicants include Colorado PK-12 educational institutions, community partners, and coalitions of partners, with a focus on projects that engage youth and demonstrate community partnerships. The anticipated funding period is 36 months, from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2028, with approximately $20,000,000 available for distribution across three funding tiers based on the number of students served.
