The emphasis is on projects that are unique, pioneering, or unparalleled in their contribution to Baytown.
The application process begins with a pre-application summarizing the proposed project, with the first round of reviews conducted by February 28, 2025. Selected applicants will proceed to a preliminary interview to assess feasibility and alignment with grant objectives. Those whose projects qualify will be invited to submit a formal Catalyst Grant Application.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations, private businesses, developers, and entrepreneurs, regardless of their residency. However, employees of the City of Baytown are not eligible. This opportunity is ideal for individuals and groups aiming to make a significant, lasting impact on the Baytown community while fostering its cultural, economic, and social development.
