Creativity Grants for General Operating Support

Description
The Creativity Grants for General Operating Support aim to strengthen the vitality and sustainability of small arts organizations to maintain a strong and stable arts infrastructure in Maryland. These grants are intended to support overall operations, focusing on the organization’s arts activities or programming for an entire season or fiscal year. Eligible applicants are Maryland-incorporated 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, units of Maryland local government, or Maryland colleges/universities/schools that produce or present arts programs relevant to their communities and available to the public.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from July 1, 2024, through April 30, 2025, with a monthly review process. The maximum award amount is $5,000. Organizations that are part of the Grants for Organizations (GFO) or County Arts Development (CAD) programs or within Arts & Entertainment Districts (A&E) are not eligible to apply. The grant supports expenses directly associated with eligible arts activities, such as artist payments, consultant fees, and space rentals.
