This program provides funding to nonprofit organizations in Colorado that support youth initiatives focused on health, education, and career readiness for individuals aged 5-24.

Description

The Denver Broncos Community Grant Program, operated by the Denver Broncos Foundation, provides funding to nonprofit organizations that serve youth in Colorado. The program is designed to support initiatives that improve youth health and wellness, expand access to youth and high school football, enhance in-school and out-of-school learning experiences, and build career pathways for young people. The foundation prioritizes funding for programs that address mental health, food security, academic development, and career readiness for youth aged 5-24.

Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations or government equivalents with a programming expense ratio of at least 80%. Grant requests must focus on a specific youth-serving program or project aligned with one of the funding priority areas. The program does not fund administrative costs, fundraising initiatives, religious organizations, individuals, endowments, political campaigns, or trips. Completing an application does not guarantee funding, and organizations that previously received a grant must submit a grant report via CyberGrants before reapplying.

Applications for the Denver Broncos Community Grant Program are accepted year-round, with awards distributed on a quarterly basis. Each funding cycle has a specific deadline, with application reviews and decisions made the following month. For the 2025 funding cycle, the deadlines for submissions are February 15, May 15, August 15, and November 15, with notification dates following approximately one month after each deadline.

The foundation does not allow applicants to contact them for status updates and does not provide feedback on declined proposals. Organizations interested in applying must ensure their program meets eligibility criteria and aligns with one of the priority areas outlined by the Denver Broncos Foundation. The most up-to-date funding information is available on the program’s webpage.
