The Pay It Forward Project partners with local school service clubs and organizations that work to build a better community with community service projects and environmental projects that build for a better community.
The Pay It Forward Project Grant Application is a youth empowerment grant for student clubs or organizations from any of the El Dorado County High Schools (CA), South Tahoe Middle School (CA), Douglas County High Schools (NV), and Carson City High Schools (NV) who are planning a community service project that gives back to the community. This grant centers on giving back to the community, respecting our fellow man, and continually looking ahead on how to make the world a better place for everyone in it.
This grant, if approved will provide up to $750.00 for a student club’s project or up to $1,500 in matching funds that student organizations raise for a community and/or environmentally focused project that builds a better community through volunteerism.
Requirements
These Pay it Forward Project grants can be applied for by local high school organizations/clubs. Though the advisor should create the login and is ultimately in charge of the application, students should be involved in completing the application (and its reporting requirements). In other words, students should be completing the application with the advisor’s help.
Clubs/Organizations MUST be made up of current high school students at any El Dorado County (CA), Douglas County (NV), or Carson City (NV) high schools. South Tahoe Middle School Clubs are also eligible to apply this year.
Project/Activity must be volunteer based as we provide grants for material needed for student projects.
Activity/Project that is being planned must be executed in the 2024-25 school year.
Club/Org advisor must be involved for the entire school year.
Applications must show what the funds will specifically be spent for the said project.
