Description

The Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD) is launching the 2025 Rural Development Fund Grant program to support land-based industries and infrastructure projects that benefit rural communities in the state. The grant application period opens on October 10, 2024, and proposals must be submitted through the new MiAgGrants site, requiring either a Citizen or Business Account for access.

An informational webinar will be held on October 24, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. EST to provide guidance on the application process. All proposals must be submitted by December 5, 2024, at 5:00 p.m. EST. The evaluation process will occur in January 2025, with funding awards announced in April 2025.
