Description

The Community Arts Grant program, offered by the Community Foundation of North Central Wisconsin, is designed to foster cooperation and expand arts opportunities throughout Marathon County. Funded by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board and supplemented by the B.A. & Esther Greenheck Foundation and the Community Foundation’s Wausau·Marathon County Fund, it aims to support quality arts or arts-related activities with a public component such as concerts, exhibitions, or performances. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations serving Marathon County, and the grant request can cover no more than 50% of the total project costs. Proposals are evaluated based on artistic merit, uniqueness, and community impact, with applications due once annually.
