South Carolina is currently accepting applications for the Façade Improvement Grant, which aims to support the enhancement of building exteriors in the state. Eligible improvements include signage and painting, restoration of architectural details in historic buildings, installation or repair of integrated signs, removal or installation of window areas for retail displays, appropriate lighting installation, awnings/canopies/shutters removal or installation, cleaning and repainting of building exteriors, masonry cleaning/re-pointing, replacement of deteriorated windows/doors/framing visible from the street, removal of solid roll-down security gates, and ADA accessibility improvements (exterior only).
