Description
The Vibrant City Arts Grant is part of the Tempe Community Arts Grants Program, offering financial support to artist collectives, cultural groups, and arts organizations delivering inclusive and impactful arts and cultural programming within Tempe, Arizona. The program is designed to position Tempe as a creative hub and a community that actively supports and celebrates artists in all disciplines.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations and LLCs that provide arts programming in Tempe. Grants of up to $2,500 are available with no matching requirement. Projects must occur within the city limits of Tempe between September 1, 2025, and July 30, 2026. Organizations are only eligible to receive one Tempe Community Arts Grant per fiscal year (defined as September 1 through June 30).
Grant funds can be used for a broad range of project-related expenses including fees for artists and creative workers, contracted services, production costs, venue rentals, licensing, supplies, permits, insurance, food, and marketing. The grant aims to support both new and ongoing programs that engage the community and contribute to Tempe’s vibrant cultural landscape.
The application opens on April 15, 2025, and must be submitted by July 1, 2025.
