Description
The Foundation for Seacoast Health has opened its 2025 grant cycle with a dedicated focus on Healthy Aging, aiming to improve the well-being of older adults in the Seacoast region. This year’s grant program will provide general operating support to organizations committed to addressing key challenges faced by aging populations, particularly those who are at-risk or marginalized.
The Foundation is prioritizing organizations that primarily serve older adults and are involved in reducing social isolation, enhancing caregiver support, and improving access to essential services. Proposed initiatives must align with one or more of the following priority areas:
Reducing Social Isolation – Programs that promote mental wellness and connection through peer networks, group activities, or virtual engagement.
Enhancing Caregiver Support – Services that provide education, respite, peer support, and resources to caregivers of older adults.
Improving Connections to Resources – Programs that link older adults with essential services such as transportation, nutritious meals, and supports that enable aging in place.
Grant awards will be single-year general operating grants ranging from $25,000 to $50,000, but may not exceed 20% of the applicant's core operating budget. Applicants are encouraged to scale their requests accordingly.
