Fall Community Investment Program
This program provides funding for innovative projects that improve quality of life and strengthen communities in Rosebud, Custer, and Fallon County, Montana, specifically for eligible nonprofits and government entities.
Description
The Community Investment Program (CIP) was established at the Montana Community Foundation by Grid United. CIP supports communities in Rosebud, Custer, and Fallon County, where Grid United’s North Plains Connector, a transmission line connecting U.S. eastern and western electric grids in Montana and North Dakota, will be located. CIP funds innovative projects that enhance quality of life and strengthen communities in this corner of Eastern Montana. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) nonprofits and government entities. Non-501(c)(3) nonprofits may also be eligible with prior consultation. The program has two application cycles each year. Grants are up to $50,000.
Only one application is allowed per organization. Project reports are due within one year of receiving funds and must be submitted before additional grants are made.
