Description
The Gerber Foundation is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for infants and young children through its support for various youth programs within Lake, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana Counties in West Michigan. The grants focus on serving youth aged 0-18, with a special emphasis on Health, Nutrition, Dental issues, Early Childhood Services, Literacy, Parenting Education, Education (STEM and Arts), and Life Experiences. The foundation prioritizes projects that are collaborative in nature and have broad community support. Grants are generally for one-year commitments and are usually under $10,000, with the average grant being less than $5,000. Eligible applicants must be public non-profits or governmental entities serving the specified counties.
