Region 10: Creative Sector Flex Fund
This funding opportunity provides $5,000 to small arts organizations in Pennsylvania to support their administrative and program-related expenses, helping them thrive and serve their communities.
Description
The Creative Sector Flex Fund (CSFF) is designed to address the dynamic needs of Pennsylvania arts organizations with annual revenues between $10,000 and $200,000. This grant program provides $5,000 grants that can be used flexibly to support administrative, programmatic, and project-related expenses, ensuring significant impact for both the organizations and their communities. The Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA) launched the CSFF in 2023-2024, and it continues for the 2024-2025 cycle. The initiative aims to replace the retired Entry to Program Stream and Program Stream grants, aligning more closely with industry trends and strategic goals.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit, tax-exempt corporations, units of local government, and arts programs within larger organizations. The application period opens on July 1, 2024, and closes on August 30, 2024, with the grant activity period spanning from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. Organizations must have a history of at least two years of consistent arts programming in Pennsylvania and must meet specific financial and operational criteria to qualify.
