The Strategic Investment Grants (SIG) offered by the Montana Arts Council aim to foster professional development and market expansion for artists and teachers, as well as support nonprofit organizations in enhancing arts-related programs. SIG provides grants of up to $1000 for a variety of activities such as attending workshops, trade shows, and art events, public outreach, online presence expansion, and more. Applications are accepted monthly on the 15th of each month by 11:59 p.m. and reviewed in the subsequent month. This grant targets artists and 501(c)3 organizations with distinct eligibility and review criteria.
