Big Green is partnering with the San Antonio Independent School District and Gardopia Gardens to offer school garden grants for the 2024-25 school year. The grants aim to connect students to the benefits of growing food through garden education. There are two types of grants available: Jumpstart Grants and Jumpstart Learning Garden Grants. The Jumpstart Grant provides $2,000 to support garden education, while the Learning Garden Grant includes a full raised bed garden kit and a $2,000 cash grant. Schools are encouraged to apply for these grants to enhance their garden-based programming and outdoor education initiatives.
