Description

The SW MI Cares Emergency Project Grants focus on programs providing emergency relief due to COVID-19. Applicants should assess their ability to serve over the next 2-4 weeks and describe anticipated needs or gaps in service. Eligible projects include those addressing food pantries, child and baby needs, needs for shelters, and help for homebound seniors. Applications will be reviewed and awarded bi-weekly throughout the COVID-19 crisis or until further notice. Eligible applicants include 501c3 nonprofits, religious organizations doing community work, and schools doing community work. New applicants must provide an IRS Determination letter, 990 or recent audit, and an operating budget.
