The Ida Alice Ryan Charitable Trust provides grants to support charitable institutions in or near Atlanta, Georgia. While there are no strict program limitations, the foundation prioritizes funding in the following order: hospitals and health; education, human services, and public/society benefit; and arts, culture, and humanities.
Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations operating within the Metro Atlanta 28-County Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). Applications are accepted year-round, with deadlines of February 1 for the March grant meeting and August 1 for the September meeting. Grant decisions are typically communicated by April for February submissions and by November for August submissions.
Applicants will receive an automated email confirmation upon submission. Funded projects may require periodic progress reports and final reports to ensure accountability and demonstrate the impact of the grant.
