The program focuses on energy efficiency and electrification, highlighting the associated benefits and technologies. Approximately $50,000 in funding is available for this initiative.
Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations with IRS 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(4) designations, faith-based organizations, universities and educational institutions, and private enterprises. Applicants must demonstrate the capacity to meaningfully engage tenants and provide effective education on energy-related topics.
Applications are due by 11:59 PM on January 24, 2025, and must be submitted via the Grants Application Portal. DOEE will host a pre-application information session on January 9, 2025, at 2:00 PM, accessible through WebEx or by phone.
