Description

The Communities of Color Special At Risk Population 2025 initiative aims to reduce health disparities and inequities in HIV prevention, education, testing, and care among minority populations in Illinois. Targeting communities of color, especially at-risk minority groups such as men who have sex with men, homeless individuals, ex-offenders, sex workers, and those with a history of mental illness or substance abuse, the program funds culturally competent and linguistically appropriate services. Eligible applicants include community-based organizations, non-profits, local health departments, and more. The total funding available is $617,098.91, with applications due by August 8, 2024.
