Description
The USAID Primary Health Care Improvement Program (UPHIP) seeks to strengthen Nigeria's primary healthcare system to make it more effective, resilient, and responsive to population needs. This program supports the Nigerian Government's Health Sector Renewal Investment Plan, aiming for sustainable improvements in healthcare access and quality. UPHIP has a five-year duration, divided into initial and renewal phases.
Eligibility is restricted to local Nigerian organizations, fostering local expertise and engagement. USAID expects to make up to two awards, with funding between $500 and $40 million per award.
