Description

The Swain County Community Foundation (SCCF), an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation, offers grants to support local charitable organizations. The grants, ranging from $500 to $1,250, are available to qualified nonprofits, local governments, public schools, fire and rescue departments, and faith-based organizations for social outreach programs. Applications will be accepted from June 21, 2024, to July 23, 2024, with funds awarded from the community grantmaking fund and the Youth are our Future Endowment. In 2023, SCCF awarded a total of $12,220 through this competitive process.

The SCCF focuses on building community assets and supporting local causes through permanent endowments and leadership. Eligible applicants must apply using the NCCF's online system and adhere to the provided guidelines. Organizations must serve Swain County or the counties within the affiliate network and ensure non-discriminatory practices in their programs and services.
