The Community Foundation Serving Western Virginia Grant Program is now open for applicants. The grant, ranging from $14,000 to $25,000, aims to support projects and programs in the areas of community vibrancy, education and youth, and health. Eligible organizations located in and serving the cities of Martinsville, Roanoke, and Salem, as well as the counties of Botetourt, Craig, Franklin, Henry, Patrick, and Roanoke are encouraged to apply. The focus areas include promoting arts and culture, healthy lifestyles, literacy efforts, workforce development programs, access to healthcare services, mental wellness improvement, and services for persons with disabilities.
