Description
The 100 Women Who Care: West Tennessee program offers annual grants to programs and projects benefiting residents of rural West Tennessee. These grants can be used for unrestricted operating support or specific initiatives, providing flexibility to nonprofits to address community needs. There is no designated focus area for these grants, allowing applicants to propose a range of impactful projects.
Eligible applicants must have 501(c)(3) status or be an active fund of the Community Foundation of West Tennessee in good standing. The proposed projects must directly benefit residents of rural West Tennessee. A full list of eligible counties is available in the grant guidelines. Applications must include a cover sheet, organizational contact information, a proposal narrative, and any additional required documents.
The application period is open from January 1, 2025, to January 31, 2025. Applications can be submitted online or emailed to Haley Fortune at haley@cfwtn.org. Proposals received after the deadline will not be considered. Finalists will be selected and notified at least one week before the March 7, 2025 luncheon event, where they will present their projects. Funding decisions will be made on the same day after members vote.
This process emphasizes community involvement, as members of 100 Women Who Care collectively decide on funding allocations. This collaborative approach ensures that awarded funds reflect the priorities of the group and the needs of the community.
