The Season for Sharing Grant supports Arizona nonprofit organizations that address critical needs in the community. This annual grant cycle, run by The Arizona Republic and azcentral.com in partnership with the Arizona Community Foundation and Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust, focuses on programs that serve children and families, arts and education, and older adults in Maricopa and Pinal counties.
Key Grant Information:
Grant Amounts: Range from $7,500 to $50,000. First-year grants are capped at $7,500.
Eligibility: Applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofits serving Arizona residents, specifically in Maricopa and Pinal counties.
Exclusions: The grant does not fund programs focused primarily on diseases, disabilities, or medical research, nor does it fund religious programs, sports, summer camps, capital projects, or exclusive support for salaries.
Funding Priorities:
Children & Families:
Programs preventing child abuse, supporting foster care, providing emergency shelter, housing, food, and job training for underemployed or unemployed.
Support for domestic violence victims.
Arts & Education:
Early childhood education, K-12 enhancement programs, school readiness, and support for adult literacy programs.
Older Adults:
Services for seniors, including assisted living, Alzheimer's support, meal programs, and housing.

Grant Application Open: October 9, 2024, at 9 AM.
Deadline: November 8, 2024, at 4 PM.
Grant Decisions: By February 2025, with notifications sent in April 2025.
