Description
The Designated STEM Schools Grant V, administered by the Nevada Governor’s Office of Science, Innovation, and Technology (OSIT), aims to support the ongoing growth of Nevada Governor Designated STEM Schools through targeted STEM professional learning and instructional planning. Eligible schools can apply for funding to support STEM-related professional learning, stipends for educators, funding for substitutes, and materials required for implementing high-quality STEM instruction. Funding available is $200,000, with proposals due by September 30, 2024. This grant supports the development of high-quality STEM attributes as described in the Nevada STEM Framework.
