2024 NBA Foundation Grant

Description
The NBA Foundation is currently accepting grant applications for 2024 on a rolling basis. The grants focus on promoting school-to-career employment opportunities targeting Black youth aged 14-24. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations (or equivalent in Canada) and serve a minimum of 25 youth annually within the 28 designated NBA markets. Applications are reviewed within 12-14 weeks of submission. The NBA Foundation Mission:
To drive economic opportunity for under-resourced youth, ages 14-24, by funding programs that generate successful transitions from school to meaningful employment with priority being given to organizations operating in NBA team markets. The NBA Foundation will accomplish its mission by investing in programs and partnerships with and making grants to local and national organizations that promote school-to-career employment opportunities, including job readiness, skill training, job placement, and career advancement. The NBA Foundation is no longer accepting rolling applications. To create a more focused and streamlined process, the NBA Foundation has shifted from rolling applications to designated application cycles. The next application window is open from October 1-November 14, 2025.
