Description

The Japan Foundation, New York office (JFNY) offers grants to U.S.-based non-profit organizations with 501(C)(3) status for projects that aim to enhance understanding of Japanese arts and culture. Grants of up to $5,000 are awarded on a rolling basis throughout the year. Eligible projects may include in-person, online, or hybrid events such as exhibitions, performances, film screenings, and lectures. Priority is given to projects in regions with limited access to Japanese cultural events and those that have secured additional funding. Applicants are required to submit their proposals at least 1 month prior for online projects and 3 months prior for in-person or hybrid projects.
