Stardust Fertility Foundation Grants
This grant provides financial assistance for fertility treatments to Jewish couples and individuals residing in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.
Description
The Stardust Fertility Foundation provides financial assistance to Jewish couples and individuals in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York to support fertility treatments. The foundation offers grants ranging from $1,000 to $15,000, cost reductions of up to 20% at partner clinics, discounted medication pricing at specialty pharmacies, and emotional support through the Stardust Fertility Friends program.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and reviewed quarterly, with deadlines on the last day of each quarter (March 31, June 30, September 30, December 31). The grants committee, comprising professionals in medicine, science, finance, law, and social work, evaluates applications. Careful completion of the application is critical, as incomplete submissions are the most common reason for rejection. Grant funds are paid directly to fertility clinics and must be used within 12 months for future treatments, not for past expenses.
Eligibility requires residency in the tri-state area and adherence to the foundation’s Jewish criteria: at least one Jewish parent, exclusive practice of Judaism in the home, and commitment to raising the child in the Jewish faith. Applicants must provide medical proof of infertility unless early evaluation is justified and demonstrate the financial ability to support a child, including adequate living arrangements and health insurance for the mother and baby.
Funding decisions are based on the alignment of the applicant’s needs with the foundation’s goals. Applications must include detailed information as outlined by the foundation and will be reviewed shortly after the quarterly deadline. Applicants will be notified of their status within a few weeks.
