The Local Cultural Council (LCC) Program supports projects that provide public benefits and enhance cultural and artistic opportunities in Massachusetts communities. Eligible applicants include individuals, nonprofit organizations, for-profit entities, unincorporated associations, public schools, and municipal agencies. Applicants must demonstrate that their projects provide public benefit, and religious organizations may apply as long as their projects serve the broader public and are not inherently religious. Applications are due by October 16, 2024, at 11:59 PM ET. Funds may be used for operating support, such as maintaining safe environments for arts programming or investing in educational technology.
