The Worcester County Health Department (WCHD) is offering FY25 Mini Grants to support community initiatives aimed at reducing youth cannabis use. This funding opportunity is open to community-based organizations, churches, private entities, nonprofits, and workplaces in Worcester County, Maryland. Applicants can request up to $5,000 for projects that reduce the initiation of cannabis products among youth. Grant awards are contingent upon the quality and number of applications, with a total of $24,000 available for distribution across selected projects.

To apply, applicants must complete and email a fillable PDF application to Crystal Bell at Crystal.bell1@maryland.gov by November 27, 2024, no later than 4:30 p.m. A virtual pre-proposal orientation will be held via Google Meet on November 13, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.; interested participants should RSVP to Crystal Bell via email. Applications will be evaluated using a standardized scoring rubric, and awards will be announced after December 18, 2024.
