Starting In January Of 2022, They Began Running Two Separate Programs Concurrently, Increasing Program Days From Roughly 40 Per Year In 2021 To 90 In 2022. Also Thanks To Foundation Help, Beautiful People Added Several Brand New Sports. For The First Time, They Formed A Track And Field Club, Encouraging More Than 50 Athletes To Move Their Bodies To Support Physical And Mental Health. They Also Pushed New Programs Into The Newburgh And New Windsor Areas. They Have Also Made It A Priority To Add New Programs In Areas Like Middletown, Warwick, Newburgh And New Windsor. Newburgh Armory Unity Center Inc | $15,000 | Newburgh, NEW YORK | The Funding Is Being Used To Enhance Elements Of The Center's Saturday Morning Enrichment Program (Smep), Which Remains The Foundation Of The Nuac's Mission To Provide High Quality Academic Enrichment, Early Childhood Literacy Programs, Career Exploration Pathways To Children And Families In The Newburgh Enlarged City School District. In 2022 And 2023, Nuac Served 650+ Students Weekly, Expanded Class Offerings To More Than 30, And Provided Nearly 2,000 Hours Of Instruction Per Week, Surpassing Pre Pandemic Numbers. The Library Has Also Been Updated And Renovated, And A Computerized Database Installed. An After School Program For Middle School And High School Students Has Been Added. The Garden Was Expanded To Include A Fruit And Berry Orchard And A Pollinator Orchard. The Nuac Hosted 12 Internships In Collaboration With The Newburgh School District And Others. To Bridge The Gap Between Homelessness And Stability For Domestic Violence And Human Trafficking Survivors In Orange County By Providing Financial Assistance For Housing Related Expenses. The Funding Allowed Fearless! To Support Clients In Finding And Keeping Safe, Affordable And Permanent Housing. The Grant Award Amount Has Been Allocated To Provide Much Needed Support To Nine Individuals (Three Adult Survivors And Six Children). In Addition To Receiving Financial Support To Enable Survivors And Their Children To Access Safe, Affordable Housing, These Individuals Received And Continue To Receive Ongoing Services, Including Advocacy, Accompaniment And Support, Case Management And Therapeutic Counseling To Aid In Healing From The Trauma And Abuse They Have Experienced. |

The Most Recent Grant Had A Positive Impact On Habitat's Bridging Blocks Project Phase Ii Part I For Houses At 139/141 Johnston Street And 511 South Street. To Date, Habitat Has Rehabilitated Or Constructed 103 Homes In The City Of Newburgh And Has Partnered With More Than 120 Families Through Their Home Ownership Program. Some Of The Benefits Include The Flexibility To Provide Distance Learning And Remote Services When Needed, Improved Data Security And Confidentiality, Reliable And Easy Access To Information, And Improved Communication. |
Middletown Goshen Convalescent Childern's Home | $10,000 | Goshen, NEW YORK | Braeside Offers A Summer Experience For Boys And Girls Of Orange County Aged Five To 16. The Foundation Funds Were Used For Multiple Projects, The Most Significant Being A Much Needed Upgrade To The Playground Area. Another Portion Of The Funds Is Going Toward Supplies For The Stem Camp Program. Enrollment For Stem In 2023 Is Well Above Last Year's. Grant Funds Are Also Being Used To Complete Very Important Repairs To The Aging Pool, Including New Water Lines, Replacement Of The Skimmer Housings And Replacement Of The Pool Pump. These Pool Repairs Could Not Have Even Been Considered Without Support From The Foundation. |
Nora Cronin Presentation Academy | $10,000 | Newburgh, NEW YORK | The Foundation's Support Allowed Ncpa To Tie Into The "Educate" Application That Is Used By The Archdiocese Of New York. A "Per Student" Fee Permits Access To The System Which Assists The Administration Immensely. "Educate" Streamlines Attendance Reporting, Report Cards, Emergency Notifications To Parents, And Allows Parents To Set Up A User Account To Check Their Child's Grades At Any Time. This Funding Also Has Had And Will Continue To Have A Direct Impact On The Educational Experience Of Ncpa Girls In The Following Ways: 1) For The Extended Day Program, Ncpa Was Able To Hire A Physical Education Teacher; 2) A Plan Is In Place To Hire A Part Time Music Teacher In The Fall For The Extended Day Program; 3) The 8th Grade Class Was Able To Take An Educational Trip Into New York City For A Tour Of The United Nations. Funding Was Also Used For Miscellaneous Building/Maintenance Costs. |

Their Mission Is To Continue Subsidizing Their Services Along With Awarding Scholarships To Clients Who Need It Most. As Of May 31, 2023, They Had Given $40,000 In Subsidies And Scholarships And That Number Is Expected To Increase. Four Of The Five Schools They Are Serving This Year Through Their Visiting Classroom Program Are From Orange County From K Through 8th Grade. As A Result Of Funding Provided By Supporters Such As The Foundation, Winslow's Participants Improve Physically, Mentally, Cognitively, Socially And Educationally. Because Winslow Has Not Had To Change Prices, Participants Have Maintained Their Ability To Afford These Necessary Services For Themselves Or Their Loved Ones. |
